Little Dippers take babies from birth to around 12 months for beginners classes. This is because the classes are specialist and aim to teach your baby some basic life saving skills, such as unaided backfloating and underwater turns.
Workshops for the Midlands are run at the Derby Royal Hospital.
The workshops are held over 3 days with the aim of teaching you the necessary skills to pass onto your baby. There are 4 different, initial levels, which are held approximately 8 weeks apart, i.e. beginners, improvers, intermediate and advanced +.
All workshops are held in specialist pools where the water is very warm and suitable for small babies. It's very good fun and extremely safe! (Non swimming parents welcome too).
